What are the three Pravesha methods available in MKundali?
MKundali supports Tithi Pravesha, Nakshatra Pravesha and Yoga Pravesha.
What is Tithi Pravesha?
It uses the natal angular separation between the Moon and Sun as its reference. The annual calculation also requires the Sun to be in its natal sidereal sign.
What is Nakshatra Pravesha?
It uses the natal Moon’s exact sidereal longitude. The annual calculation also requires the Sun to be in its natal sidereal sign.
What is Yoga Pravesha?
It uses the sum of the natal sidereal longitudes of the Sun and Moon, normalised to 360 degrees. The annual calculation also checks the Sun’s natal sidereal sign.
Does MKundali support monthly and daily Pravesha?
Yes. All three methods provide Annual, Month and Day calculation levels.
How are the daily Pravesha moments calculated?
The daily sequence uses successive 12-degree increments from the relevant natal elongation, Moon longitude or Sun–Moon sum, according to the selected method.
Does Pravesha use the birth location?
Yes. The Pravesha moments and charts use the birth chart’s location and timezone information.
Can I compare Annual, Month and Day charts?
Yes. Each Pravesha method provides three standard chart slots, three divisional chart slots and three Fusion chart slots.
Does MKundali provide Dasha analysis for Pravesha?
Yes. It provides Compressed Vimshottari for Annual, Month and Day intervals.
Is Pravesha the same as Tajaka Varsha Pravesh?
No. Tajaka Varsha uses the return of the Sun to its natal longitude. The three Pravesha methods use different references involving the Moon–Sun elongation, Moon longitude and Sun–Moon longitude sum. See Tajaka astrology software.
